About Termbook

What the site does

You can choose a council on the home page to see its next half term and next end of term with countdowns, and open its term dates page. The site also presents UK bank holidays.

Council dates and bank holidays come from different official sources. Source links and the dates they were read are listed under Sources and updates at the end of each page so you can check the original publication.

Sources and checks

School term and holiday dates are based on each council's own page or document. UK bank holidays come from the GOV.UK feed. Dates are checked independently before publication and are not estimated.

For an explanation of calculated dates and the labels used when a date is missing, see the How we check the dates page.

An independent service

The site is not connected with GOV.UK, any council, school or government department. It is not an official service.

For school dates, check the council's information and your school's own calendar when confirming arrangements. If the dates here differ, use the council's or school's own dates. Check GOV.UK for the latest bank holiday dates.

Who runs the site

The operator is Orel Zigi, Ariel Sharon 4, Netivot, Israel. The site currently has no advertising.

Corrections

Checks cannot rule out every mistake. If you spot an error, please email orelzigi2@gmail.com with the council name, the date concerned and a link to the council's source. This helps the operator check the information and correct it.
