Reading the summer holiday dates

For the summer holidays in 2028, the tables show each council's last day of the summer term and, where available on this site, the first day of the next autumn term. These dates are based on council sources, with calculated dates labelled. Check your school's own dates before treating a term boundary as a pupil's last or first day. A note identifies any boundary date that the council lists as an INSET day. Source links and the dates they were read are listed under Sources and updates at the end of this page; missing dates are not estimated.
